How to Edit Videos on Golpo AI
After you create a video with Golpo, you can edit it frame by frame using just prompts.
This is a key feature that sets Golpo apart from other video generation tools. In most other tools, you either cannot edit the video at all, or editing one part changes things you did not want changed. With Golpo, you can edit a specific frame while keeping all other animations the same.
In this guide, we will cover how the editing feature works, what you can and cannot change, how credits are handled, and which plans include it.
Where to Find the Edit Button
Once your video is generated, head to your Library page. Under each video, you'll see a small pen icon. That's the Edit button. Click it to open the frame-by-frame editor. Please note it'll be disabled if your plan does not have edit feature. Please read on to see what plans include "Edit Feature".
What You Can Edit
1. Edit Visuals Frame by Frame
The editor lets you go through your video one frame at a time and make targeted changes to the visuals. You're not re-generating the whole video — you're surgically fixing individual frames. For Golpo Canvas videos, you can also change the shape and size of bounding boxes just by dragging them to wrap a particular image that you want to be part of that sentence. If an image/text is cut out, you can bring those within the bounding box to show up nicely in the video.
2. Add or Replace Images and Text
You can add new images or words/letters to any frame, or replace existing ones. This is useful when:
- The AI got a visual wrong and you want to swap it out
- You want to insert your own branding or diagram
- A word or label in a frame needs correcting
3. Upload Reference Images (Golpo Sketch Only)
For Golpo Sketch videos specifically, you can upload a reference image and have it placed into a frame — either as an addition alongside existing visuals, or as a replacement for another image. This gives you precise control over the visual content without needing to regenerate.
4. Audio Cannot Be Edited
One important limitation: you cannot edit or remove the audio. The voiceover and any sound from the original generation stay as-is. If you need different audio, you'll need to generate a new video with updated prompts/scripts.
How Credits Work for Editing
This is important to understand before you start:
- When you start editing, Golpo deducts credits equal to the length of the video. A 1-minute video costs 1 credit to edit; a 2-minute video costs 2 credits.
- Finalizing that version does not cost any additional credits. You can tweak as many frames as you want within that version without extra charges.
- If you start another version after finalizing, it follows the same pattern — credits are deducted again when you begin the new version.
Example of credit deduction:
- Start editing a 1-min video: 1 credit (deducted immediately)
- Edit frames for that version (even in different sessions): No additional cost
- Finalize the version: No additional cost
- Start a new version after finalizing: 1 credit again
In short: each editing version costs the same as generating the video. Plan your edits carefully to make the most of each version.
Which Plans Include Editing?
Editing is not available on all plans:

Quick Summary
- What you can edit: Visuals, images, text — frame by frame
- Reference image upload: Yes, for Golpo Sketch videos only
- Audio editing: Not supported
- Credit cost: Same as video length per version
- Additional cost to finalize: None
- Availability: Business+ (included), Growth ($200 add-on)
Golpo's editing feature fills a real gap in AI video tools. Most platforms force you to regenerate entirely if something's off. Being able to go in and fix individual frames — especially with reference image uploads on Sketch — gives you a level of control that's hard to find elsewhere. Just keep the credit model in mind.
