A structured explainer video script becoming narration beats, storyboard cards, and a finished animated scene

A strong explainer video script sounds natural when spoken and creates obvious opportunities for visuals. It does not try to say everything the company knows. It takes one audience through one problem, mechanism, example, and next action.

What is a quantum computer?

A conversational script becomes an ordered visual explanation while the supplied wording remains the narration source.

A normal computer uses bits. A bit is either a zero or a one. A quantum computer uses qubits, and qubits behave differently…

That’s already better than most explanations I’ve heard. So if someone says, “Okay, but what is a quantum computer?” how do you answer that without scaring them off?

A normal computer uses bits. A bit is either a zero or a one. A quantum computer uses qubits, and qubits behave differently. Under the right conditions, they can represent more than a simple binary state. That allows some problems to be approached in a fundamentally different way. The easiest analogy is this: a classical computer is like trying many doors one by one to find the correct path, while a quantum computer is like working with a system that can evaluate many possible paths in a much more simultaneous way. That does not make it a magic machine. It makes it a machine built for certain kinds of very hard problems.

So this is not “my laptop, but on steroids.”

Correct. That is one of the biggest misconceptions. Quantum computing is not mainly about making ordinary tasks a little faster. It is about unlocking new approaches to specific problem classes that are painfully difficult for classical systems.

Why ambition turns into procrastination

A hook, psychological explanation, analogy, and practical takeaway become a complete visual narrative.

Have you ever dreamed of becoming rich… starting a business… getting fit… or changing your life… but somehow… you end up scrolling social media instead?

Have you ever dreamed of becoming rich… starting a business… getting fit… or changing your life… but somehow… you end up scrolling social media instead?

If that's happened to you, you're not alone. Millions of people have huge ambitions but struggle to take consistent action. So what's really happening inside the brain? Let's find out.

Here's something surprising. Many psychologists argue that what we call 'laziness' is often an oversimplification. In many cases, the real causes are procrastination, fear of failure, burnout, low energy, or difficulty getting started, not a personality trait.

Think about it this way: your brain is constantly weighing two options. Work now… or feel comfortable now. And comfort almost always wins. Especially when the reward for your work is far away.

What Golpo can turn into video

Exact product copy is narrated while the scenes visualize prompts, documents, websites, notes, audio, video, and images.

Golpo AI turns almost anything you have lying around — a prompt, a document, a website, copy-pasted notes, screenshots, your existing audio or video, or even just that photo you took off a signboard — into beautiful explainer videos - basically your chaos, but magically transformed into something that looks like you planned it all along. There are several styles of videos you can generate using Golpo AI — both for Golpo Canvas and Golpo Sketch. This one is the Golpo Canvas Sharpie Style.

The seven-part explainer video script structure

  1. Hook: name the viewer's question, problem, or desired outcome in the first sentence.
  2. Context: explain why the problem matters now and to this audience.
  3. Core idea: state the central answer in plain language before adding detail.
  4. Mechanism or steps: walk through the process in a logical order the animation can show.
  5. Concrete example: add a scenario, contrast, analogy, worked step, or product moment.
  6. Recap: compress the explanation into one memorable takeaway.
  7. Call to action: give the viewer one next step.

Not every short script needs seven separate paragraphs, but the logic should be present. The quantum example uses analogy to make a technical idea visual. The procrastination example opens with a relatable behavior, explains a mechanism, and ends with a small action. The product example compresses several input types into one memorable promise.

Choose the duration first: Golpo's Script Mode character limit

In Golpo Script Mode, duration comes first. Select how long the video should be, then write or paste the narration within the character allowance shown for that duration. Golpo allows up to 1,050 characters per selected minute.

Formula: selected duration in minutes × 1,050 = maximum Script Mode characters.

Selected durationMaximum script lengthPlanning use
1 minute1,050 charactersOne focused idea, product promise, or short lesson
2 minutes2,100 charactersProblem, mechanism, example, and next action
3 minutes3,150 charactersA fuller explanation with examples or ordered steps
5 minutes5,250 charactersA deeper lesson, process, or product walkthrough

The character allowance is a maximum, not a target. Read the script aloud after it fits the counter. If the delivery sounds rushed or leaves no room for pauses, shorten the copy even when it remains under the limit.

Three explainer video script templates

Product explainer

“[Audience] often struggles with [problem]. That creates [consequence]. [Product] solves it by [mechanism]. Here is what that looks like: [three ordered steps]. The result is [outcome]. To [next action], [single CTA].”

Educational explainer

“Why does [question] happen? The short answer is [core idea]. First, [step one]. Then, [step two]. Think of it like [analogy]. In [example], that means [result]. Remember: [one-sentence recap].”

Process or training explainer

“When [trigger] happens, follow these [number] steps. First, [step]. Next, [step]. Before you finish, check [requirement]. If [exception], [approved escalation]. Find the full policy at [location].”

Write for the ear and the frame

  • Use short spoken sentences, but vary rhythm so the narration does not sound mechanical.
  • Introduce one new concept at a time.
  • Prefer concrete nouns and active verbs the animation can depict.
  • Spell out uncommon abbreviations on first use and add pronunciation direction where needed.
  • Move palette, typography, recurring layout, and iconography out of the narration and into Video Instructions.
  • Keep regulated claims, prices, policy language, and legal wording tied to an approved source.

Turn the approved script into a video

  1. Open video.golpoai.com and turn on Script Mode.
  2. Choose the video duration first.
  3. Confirm the available limit: 1,050 characters for each selected minute.
  4. Paste the approved spoken copy and keep it within the displayed character allowance.
  5. Choose Sketch or Canvas, voice, orientation, pacing, language, and style.
  6. Add Voice Instructions for delivery and Video Instructions for the visual system.
  7. Generate the video and compare the finished narration against the source.
  8. Use frame editing when available to repair isolated visual issues without rewriting the whole story.

If you want AI to draft the script from an idea, use the text-to-video workflow first. If you already recorded the performance, use Own Narration instead of regenerating the voice.

Frequently asked questions

How long can a script be in Golpo Script Mode?

Choose the video duration first. Golpo then allows up to 1,050 script characters for each selected minute, so the maximum is the selected duration in minutes multiplied by 1,050.

What should the first sentence do?

It should identify the viewer's problem, question, or desired outcome. Avoid spending the opening on company history or generic scene-setting.

Should visual directions be written into the narration?

Usually no. Keep spoken copy natural. Put recurring layout, color, typography, iconography, scene density, and other production direction in Video Instructions or scene notes. For complete Prompt Mode, Script Mode, Own Narration, Video Instructions, and Voice Instructions examples, use the faceless YouTube channel guide.

Can AI write the script for me?

Yes. A focused prompt or grounded document can produce a first draft. Use Script Mode when the final wording is already approved, and review regulated or technical copy before generation.

What is the best ending for an explainer video?

Restate the outcome in one line and give one clear next action. Avoid ending with several competing calls to action.
