Build a findable library of task-specific answers, with a calm presenter guiding customers through the exact next step.

The same support question arriving again is a signal to improve the answer and its placement. A short Golpo Avatar video can show a customer what to do, what success looks like, and where to get help. The useful unit is one resolved task. Build around real contact reasons so your library helps the people who would otherwise ask an agent.

Your presenter plus Golpo’s visual explanation is a winning combination: a recognizable guide alongside visuals that make the idea easier to follow.

Watch the new Avatar example

Daniel answers a concrete support question: how to create a custom Golpo Avatar from a selfie. The explanation covers portrait quality, review, presenter choice, and saved Avatar reuse. Use this task-specific structure with your own current product steps.

The example uses a short script and a one-minute duration selection. The rates describe video generation; the planning budget below uses its own stated video lengths. Auto can change among approved layouts and briefly hide the presenter to keep important content visible.

Why this is worth testing

Agents repeatedly type the same answer, and customers still cannot find a relevant self-service explanation. A generic video library will not fix that.

Only 14% of service issues were fully resolved through self-service. Among self-service failures, 43% involved customers not finding relevant content. Gartner: customer self-service resolution survey

Survey of 5,728 customers in December 2023. Content relevance and findability are the opportunity. The survey did not test video, Golpo, or AI avatars as the solution.

The opportunity is matching a real question to an accurate, easy-to-find answer. Daniel can provide a consistent guide alongside current visual steps. A video view counts as useful only when the task is resolved without another contact.

How to build the workflow, step by step

  1. Group support contacts by repeated, safely self-serviceable task. Start with the ten most frequent tasks with clear resolutions.
  2. Turn the current approved help article into a concise script: symptom, exact steps, success check, and how to get human help.
  3. Choose Daniel, Horizontal, Auto or Side by side, and actual product images. Review every step on the current product before release.
  4. Embed the reviewed answer in the matching help article and existing support replies. Keep text steps and a contact route. Assign an owner and a review date.

Set up the presenter in Golpo

  1. Open the Playground and turn on Talking AI Avatar. For a Stock presenter, open Golpo and choose the appropriate ready-to-use Avatar. For your own presenter, choose Create new, upload a clear authorized portrait, review the framing and approved layouts, name it, and save it. Use Mine to select a saved custom Avatar.
  2. Choose narration separately. Paste the approved narration in Script Mode, then add visual and voice instructions in their separate fields. Pick Canvas or Sketch and the style that suits the explanation.
  3. Choose Horizontal and a presentation layout. Give diagrams, product screens, or real source images enough room to be readable. Preview the composition before generation.
  4. Generate, watch the complete result, verify every important visual and spoken claim, and review pronunciation. Correct any problems before uploading or embedding the accepted video through your existing distribution tools.

What the time and money could look like

Illustrative planning example — replace these assumptions with measurements from your own pilot.

30.3 hours of net capacity per month

1,000 eligible contacts × 25% avoided × 8 minutes ÷ 60 = 33.3 hours; less 3 hours upkeep = 30.3 hours; × $35 ≈ $1,062/month

The model assumes 1,000 monthly contacts about eligible tasks and a 25% verified reduction at an eight-minute handling time. The reduction is a pilot hypothesis, not a Gartner or Golpo result.

Subtract the initial library build, Golpo cost, and any upkeep beyond three hours. Payroll savings occur only if paid overtime, staffing, or outsourced work is actually avoided.

Plan the generation budget

10 videos × 2 minutes × 3 credits per minute = 60 credits for one successful generation per planned video. First-pass cost for the initial ten-answer library.

Stock Avatar videos use 3 credits per minute; custom Avatar videos use 5 credits per minute. A Natural custom Avatar has no creation credit. An optional Polished portrait uses 1 credit after successful creation, separately from video generation. Budget additional generations and convert credits to your actual plan cost when calculating the business case.

Run a pilot that can prove value

Measure two weeks of eligible contacts, then pilot the matching answer library for four weeks with comparable customers or tasks. Check confirmed resolution, repeat contact, escalation, and satisfaction. Keep a human-help route visible; abandon answers that merely hide unresolved demand.

Record the full workflow: source preparation, scripting, generation, factual review, revisions, distribution, and updates. Compare accepted outputs and successful tasks. Calculate net value after all attributable costs; views and freed salaried hours alone are not collected revenue or payroll savings.

Frequently asked questions

What if customers still need an agent?

Keep a clear escalation route. The video should reduce avoidable repetition while helping the agent understand what the customer already tried.

Does a view count as a deflected ticket?

No. Confirm the task was completed and monitor later contacts for the same issue. A missing ticket can also mean a frustrated customer gave up.

Which questions should stay out of the first library?

Start with stable tasks and clear outcomes. Keep ambiguous account-specific problems and sensitive decisions with the appropriate human support process.

What does Avatar generation cost?

Stock Avatar videos use 3 credits per minute; custom Avatar videos use 5. A Natural custom avatar has no creation credit. An optional Polished portrait uses 1 credit after successful creation, separately from video generation. Credit amounts in this guide budget one successful generation per planned video; additional generations need additional budget.

Does uploading a selfie clone my voice?

No. Avatar identity and narration are separate choices. Select a voice independently; a personal voice requires the separate voice-cloning workflow.

Can I keep my presenter alongside visual explanations?

Yes. Choose Side by side, Round overlay, Full screen, or Auto, and use the approved layouts for your portrait. Auto may briefly hide the presenter to keep important content clear. Use Horizontal for the workflows in this guide.

Are the savings and revenue figures proven Golpo results?

No. Every business model here is illustrative. Time estimates, hourly values, adoption rates, prices, and sales assumptions must be replaced with pilot measurements. Labor capacity is not automatically a payroll saving. Bookings are not collected cash.

How do we turn a promising concept into evidence?

Measure the current process first, then pilot with a comparable audience and approved content. Include scripting, reviews, revisions, maintenance, distribution, software, and any translation costs. Count resolved tasks, learning, or paid business outcomes rather than treating views as ROI.
