Jira Features
Golpo AI integrates into three areas of Jira: the Issue Panel, the Project Page, and the Board Sprint Summary.
Issue Panel
Generate videos directly from any Jira issue
The Golpo AI panel opens from any Jira issue. Click the View App Actions button below the issue title and select Golpo AI. It reads the ticket's title, description, and attachments to auto-generate a video prompt.
Creating a Video
- Open any Jira issue
- Click the View App Actions button below the issue title and select Golpo AI to open the panel
- Click Create Video — the AI will read your ticket and start generating
- The video generates in the background (3-35 minutes). You can close the panel and come back later
- Once complete, click the video to watch it in the built-in player
Configuration
Click the Configure button to open the full configuration modal where you can:
- Edit the video prompt (auto-filled from the ticket)
- Choose the animation pipeline (Canvas or Sketch)
- Select voice, language, duration, style, and music
- Attach images, videos, or documents from the ticket
- Configure image display options (animated vs. still, insert vs. reference)
- Add voice and video instructions for fine-tuning
- Enable "Edit script first" to review the script before generating
Video Library
When videos have been generated for an issue, the panel shows a library with thumbnail previews, status indicators (completed, generating, failed), and click-to-watch functionality.
Project Page
Bulk generate videos for an entire project
Access the Project Page from your Jira project navigation: Apps > Golpo AI. It shows all tickets in the project with tools for batch video generation.
Auto-Generate
Enable Project Settings > Auto-generate to automatically create explainer videos whenever a new ticket is added to the project. Toggle it on/off with a single click. Only project admins can change this setting.
Default Settings
Click Default Settings to configure voice, language, duration, orientation, pacing, pipeline, style, music, and instructions that apply to all bulk-generated videos. Click "Apply to all selected" to push defaults to selected tickets.
Filtering & Search
Use the toolbar to filter tickets by:
Bulk Generation
- Select tickets using the checkboxes (or "Select all")
- Optionally configure individual tickets by clicking the gear icon
- Click Generate N Videos to start batch generation
- Track progress inline — each ticket shows a status indicator
Video Gallery
Each ticket row shows video thumbnails for previously generated videos. If a ticket has more than 3 videos, a "View all" card links to the issue page.
Sprint Summary
Generate video summaries from your Jira board
Access Sprint Summary from the Jira board view by clicking the Explainer Video board action button. It reads all sprint data and generates a summary video.
Sprint Selection
Use the sprint dropdown to select which sprint to summarize. Choose "All Issues (Board Overview)" for a full board summary, or select a specific active, closed, or future sprint.
Auto-Generate Schedule
Set up automatic video generation on a schedule:
You can also set a preferred time (UTC) for scheduled generation. Only project admins can configure or change the schedule.
Video Settings
Configure duration, language, voice, and advanced settings (pipeline, style, music, pacing, orientation, color, and pen style). Use "More options" to expand advanced controls.
Sprint Stats & Team Workload
The page displays sprint statistics (total, done, in progress, to do, story points, team members) and a team workload section showing each member's task completion and progress.
Video Library
Previously generated sprint videos appear at the top of the page. Click any video to watch it. The latest video is featured prominently, with older videos listed alongside.
Admin Settings

Only Jira site administrators can access the settings page. Go to Apps > Golpo AI Settings.
- Connect — paste your API key to enable Golpo AI for all users
- Change Key — update to a different API key
