A library of 50 copy-paste AI whiteboard video prompts organized by use case — training, sales, education, marketing, and YouTube

The single biggest lever on AI whiteboard video quality is the prompt — but only if you put the right things in it. Duration, visual style, language, voice, music, orientation, and pacing are all UI dropdowns in Golpo. Tone, accent, and personality go in the optional Voice Instructions field. The main prompt is for content: topic, audience, outcome, structure, must-include points, CTA.

This is a copy-paste library of 50 content-only prompts. Each card gives you the recommended UI settings (duration · style · voice), an optional Voice Instructions line, and a sharp main prompt you can swap your specifics into. Drop the prompt in, set the dropdowns, and generate.

Looking for the deeper field guide? The canonical Golpo Prompt Cheatsheet covers the mental model and 10 category cards with worked demos. This library is the long-form companion.

How to Use This Library

Three input surfaces in Golpo, three different jobs:

  • UI dropdowns — duration, visual style, voice, language, music, orientation, pacing. Set these before clicking Generate. Available durations: 15 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, 2 min, 4 min, 8 min, 10 min, 15 min.
  • Voice Instructions field (optional, Creator and above) — tone, accent, personality. Example: "warm and curious, like a favorite teacher".
  • Main prompt (the big textarea) — content and structure: topic, audience, outcome, outline, must-include points, CTA.

Each prompt below follows this rule: the prompt text contains content only. Anything that belongs in a dropdown (duration, style, voice, language, music) is in the Suggested UI line above the prompt instead.

Visual Style Picker: Canvas for Technical, Sketch for Casual

The single biggest style-selection rule for Golpo:

  • Use Golpo Canvas for any video that is remotely technical. Math, science, K-12 lessons, engineering, finance, compliance, security, research, API documentation, technical product walkthroughs — all of these consistently land better in Canvas styles. The specific Canvas sub-styles to reach for first: Whiteboard, Chalkboard Color, Editorial, Sharpie, Modern Minimal, Technical.
  • Use Golpo Sketch for warmer, more casual content. Employee onboarding, day-one welcomes, sales pitches, brand stories, lifestyle marketing, kids/playful — Sketch styles (Classic, Improved, Dry Erase, Crayon, Formal) feel hand-drawn and personable.
  • When in doubt on a technical topic, default to Canvas Whiteboard or Canvas Editorial. Both render clean, are easy on the eye, and read as authoritative.

Each prompt card below puts the recommended style on the Suggested UI line. Technical prompts lead with Canvas; non-technical prompts lead with Sketch.

The Prompt Formula That Works

Every strong content-only prompt has five elements:

  • Audience. Name the actual viewer — "new hires in their first week," "a customer who just searched our help center," "a 9th-grade biology class." Generic audiences produce generic videos.
  • Outcome verb. Teach. Summarize. Walk through. Solve. Convince. Pitch. Each verb produces different scripting.
  • Structure hint. "Open with the hook, build in three sections, end with…" — even a one-sentence skeleton helps the model preserve order.
  • Must-include points. A stat, a quote, exact CTA wording — list anything non-negotiable.
  • Ending. CTA or takeaway. The closing 10 seconds carry disproportionate weight.

If a prompt is producing weak videos, almost always it is missing one of these five — not the duration field.

How to Use This Library

  • Find the prompt closest to your job. Do not over-customize; the prompts above are calibrated to what the engine produces well.
  • Set the dropdowns first. Duration, style, voice, language, orientation, music — all UI controls. Paste the main prompt into the textarea last.
  • Replace the bracketed text. Be specific — name the persona, product, topic, and CTA.
  • Add tone to Voice Instructions, not the main prompt. Voice Instructions is a separate Creator+ field for accent, register, and personality.
  • Generate, then edit visuals. The frame editor lets you replace illustrations, swap or add images, and edit text within any frame. (Audio is locked once generated; regenerate to change the script.)

FAQ

Why no duration inside the prompt?

Because duration is a UI dropdown in Golpo (15 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, 2 min, 4 min, 8 min, 10 min, 15 min). Putting "make a 2-minute video" in the main prompt is wasted text — and worse, it competes with the dropdown if you've set a different value. Set duration in the dropdown; put content in the prompt.

What if I want a duration that isn't in the dropdown?

Pick the nearest valid value. A "90-second" video maps to 1 min or 2 min depending on how much you want to say. A "3-minute" video maps to 2 min (tighter) or 4 min (more room). The dropdown values were chosen because the engine produces well-paced output at each.

What goes in Voice Instructions vs the main prompt?

Voice Instructions is for tone, accent, and personality — "warm and curious," "calm, procedural," "Australian accent," "like a senior PM." The main prompt is for content — topic, audience, structure, must-include points, CTA. Don't restate either in the other.

Can I use the same content prompt across multiple languages?

Yes. Once you have a video built from a prompt in one language, switch the Language dropdown and regenerate. The visuals stay; only the narration changes. The visuals are language-agnostic.

Should I write longer or shorter prompts?

Long enough to include the five elements (audience, outcome verb, structure, must-include, ending). Beyond that, more words usually hurts. The prompts above are deliberately tight.

What if my video does not land?

Almost always the fix is one of three: tighten the audience, tighten the structure hint, or tighten the ending. Try one at a time.
