No — a new install includes a free starter pool, so you can generate a few short videos (30 seconds–1 minute) right away without any account or key. To create longer videos or keep generating beyond the free pool, a site administrator connects a Golpo AI API key (API Only plan) under Apps > Golpo AI Settings.

A site administrator needs to configure the Golpo AI API key. Go to Apps > Golpo AI Settings, paste your API key, and click Connect. Once configured, all users on the site can generate videos without needing their own key.

Sign up at video.golpoai.com and purchase the API Only plan, which unlocks video generation in Confluence and provides the API Key. Once subscribed, go to the Playground page, click "Create API Key" and copy it immediately. The full key is only shown once — save it securely before closing.

Yes. This is a standalone Confluence app, so the API key is configured here in this app's settings. Go to Apps > Golpo AI Settings in Confluence, paste your API key, and click Connect. The key is stored for this Confluence app only.

Only Confluence site administrators (members of the "site-admins" or "confluence-administrators" groups) can access the Golpo AI Settings page.

Make sure you belong to one of the recognized admin groups: site-admins or confluence-administrators. If you were recently added as an admin, try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, contact support@golpoai.com.

It depends on the selected duration: 15-second videos take about 3-5 minutes, 1-minute videos take 10-15 minutes, and longer videos (4-10 min) can take 15-120 minutes. You can close the panel or page — generation continues in the background.

Generation runs entirely on Golpo AI servers, not in your browser. When you reopen the panel or page later, the completed video will appear in the video library automatically.

A failure message will appear with details. Common causes include: empty or very short content, unsupported attachment formats, or API quota limits. You can retry by clicking "Create Video" again. If failures persist, contact support@golpoai.com.

Yes. In the configuration modal, enable "Edit Script First". Golpo AI generates the narration script first, shows it to you for editing, and then creates the video from your finalized script.

Yes. Click "Configure" to open the configuration modal where you can edit the auto-generated prompt, add custom instructions for voice and visuals, and fine-tune exactly what the video should cover.

Videos created from your account can be deleted on request — email support@golpoai.com with the videos you'd like removed and we'll take care of it. To request deletion of all data associated with your site or account, contact us and we'll delete it within 30 days.

Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP. Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WEBM, M4V. Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, MD, CSV, XLSX, XLS, PPT, PPTX. Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, FLAC.

"Insert" places the image directly into the video as a visual element (with optional animation). "Attach" sends the image as reference material for the AI to understand context, but the image itself won't appear in the video.

Yes. In the configuration modal, click "+ Upload Files" to upload images, videos, or documents from your computer. These are used only for generating the video and are not added to the page's attachments.

Edit the page, type /golpo or use the Insert menu to add the Golpo AI macro, select a video from the picker, and save. The video player will be visible to all viewers. Videos must be generated first using the byline button or context menu.

Yes. Highlight the text on any Confluence page, right-click, and select "Generate Video with Golpo AI". This creates a video from just the selected content — perfect for meeting notes or specific sections.

Yes. Go to Space apps > Golpo AI in the space sidebar. Select pages, configure default settings, and click "Generate N Videos" to batch generate.
