Confluence Features

Golpo AI integrates into four areas of Confluence: the Page Byline, the Context Menu, the Space Page, and the Macro Embed.

Page Video

Generate a video from any Confluence page

On any Confluence page, click the "Generate Explainer Video" button in the page byline (below the page title). Golpo AI reads the page title, content, labels, and attachments to create a narrated video.

How It Works

Open any Confluence page
Click Generate Explainer Video in the byline area
Click Generate Video to start with defaults, or click Configure to customize settings
The video generates in the background (3-35 minutes)
Once complete, click the video to watch it

Configuration

Click Configure to open the full configuration modal with all options: prompt editing, pipeline selection (Canvas/Sketch), voice, language, duration, style, music, attachments, and more. See the Configuration Reference for all options.

Recent Videos

Previously generated videos for the current page appear in the "Recent Videos" section. Click any video to watch it in the player.

Context Menu

Generate a video from selected text

Select any text on a Confluence page, right-click, and choose "Generate Video with Golpo AI" from the context menu. This creates a quick video from just the selected content.

How It Works

Highlight text on any Confluence page
Right-click and select Generate Video with Golpo AI
The selected text is shown as a preview — edit the prompt if needed
Choose duration and language
Click Generate Video

Tip: This is ideal for quickly turning meeting notes, key paragraphs, or specific sections into short explainer videos.

Space Page

Bulk generate videos for an entire Confluence space

Access the Space Page from your Confluence space sidebar: Space apps > Golpo AI. It lists all pages in the space with tools for batch video generation.

Default Settings

Click Default Settings to configure voice, language, duration, orientation, pacing, pipeline, style, pen style, music, and voice/video instructions. These settings apply to all bulk-generated videos.

Filtering & Search

Use the filter toolbar to:

Search by page titleVideo filter (All, Has video, No video)

Bulk Generation

Select pages using the checkboxes (or "Select all")
Optionally configure individual pages by clicking the gear icon
Click Generate N Videos at the bottom
Track progress for each page inline

Video Gallery

Each page row shows video thumbnails for previously generated videos with status indicators. Click any video thumbnail to watch it.

Macro Embed

Embed generated videos directly in Confluence pages

Use the Golpo AI macro to embed a previously generated video inline on any Confluence page.

Adding the Macro

Edit a Confluence page
Type /golpo or use the Insert menu to find the Golpo AI macro
A video picker appears showing all videos available for this page
Click a video to select it — it will be embedded on the page
Save the page — the video player will be visible to all viewers

Changing the Video

Edit the page and click Change on the embedded video to open the picker and select a different video.

Note: Videos must be generated first (using the byline button or context menu) before they can be embedded with the macro.

Admin Settings

Manage the Golpo AI API key for Confluence

Only Confluence site administrators can access the settings page. Go to Apps > Golpo AI Settings.

Connect — paste your API key to enable Golpo AI
Change Key — update to a different API key
Disconnect — remove the API key to disable the app

Note: Configure your Golpo AI API key here in the Confluence app's settings — it applies to this app on your site.
